Mr. Medei is a native Floridian who works and lives in Central Florida. He attended elementary, middle and high school in the Orlando area. He met his wife of 34 years in high school and earned a swimming scholarship to East Carolina University.
Mr. Medei retired as a Road Supervisor from the Florida Highway Patrol after 33+ years of dedicated service. During his years of service as a State Trooper, Mr. Medei has held positions as a Supervisor, Traffic Homicide Investigator and was a member of numerous vehicle and pedestrian traffic safety teams, where he helped enact state laws and policies. Mr. Medei also proudly served as a Supervisor of the Florida Highway Patrol Reactionary Team and traveled extensively within and outside of the State of Florida to assist with high profile events and natural disasters.
In his free time, Mr. Medei is an Assistant Den Leader for the Cub Scouts and is an avid coin and gun collector.
